Founded by Andy Bakshi, a certified driving instructor and proud father with over 12 years of teaching experience and more than 38 years of driving experience, our school is dedicated to helping students become confident, skilled, and responsible drivers.
Andy began his professional driving instruction career in 2014 in Winnipeg, Manitoba, and has proudly served the Calgary and Okotoks region ever since.
Many of our students are first-time drivers, nervous drivers, or individuals preparing for road tests or medical driver re-testing.
With patient, step-by-step instruction, we help students build confidence, improve their skills, and become safe, road-ready drivers.

Our Class 7 / Class 5 GDL driver training program is designed for first-time drivers aged 14+ who hold a valid Alberta Class 7 learner’s licence or Class 5 GDL licence. We proudly serve students across Calgary and Okotoks with flexible scheduling and supportive, step-by-step instruction.
After registration, you’ll receive access to your 15-hour online driver education theory course within 24 hours via email, along with full instructions.
The course must be fully completed before starting your in-car lessons.
To get your preferred times, we recommend booking your in-car driving lessons in Calgary or Okotoks in advance while completing the online course.
Most students begin their lessons within 3–4 weeks, depending on how quickly the online course is completed. If you finish sooner, lessons may be moved earlier based on availability.
You’ll build real driving confidence, prepare for your Alberta road test, and qualify for the Insurance Reduction Certificate, which may help reduce your insurance premium depending on your provider.

📘 GDL Online Theory & In-Car Lessons
Once you complete the 15-hour online theory course (GDL program), we recommend booking your in-car lessons 2–3 weeks in advance — right after enrollment.
Please note: Alberta Transportation requires all GDL students to complete the full theory course before starting any in-car lessons. This ensures a safe, effective, and well-structured learning experience.

You have three (3) attempts to pass the online theory course.

🛣️ Do You Teach the Exact Road Test Route?
No — because there isn’t one fixed route. Examiners can go in any direction, and traffic or weather can change everything on test day.
That’s why we don’t limit practice to one area. Instead, we focus on building real-world confidence — preparing you for all kinds of roads, conditions, and situations.
Our goal? To help you pass your test and become a safe, capable driver for life.

You can enroll in our behind-the-wheel program without the online or in-class theory course.
Note: This option does not include the 15-hour theory course, so no insurance reduction certificate will be issued.
🔄 Reschedule & Cancellation Policy
You can reschedule your lesson yourself using the reschedule link in your booking email.
Please do this at least 48 hours in advance.
To cancel, kindly text us 48 hours in advance.
Late changes or no-shows will incur a $49.99 fee.

🚗 Training Cars Safety & Compliance
Unfortunately, NO—our driving school cars are fully insured with a 6D endorsement and registered specifically for training.
They are equipped with dash-cams, dual mirrors, an instructor-side brake, and clear training signage to ensure safety, legality, and visibility on the road.
🚘 One-on-One IN-CAR Lessons
These lessons are mandatory for your safety, insurance, and liability reasons — and to ensure the best learning experience.

👩🏫 Instructor Information
Currently, we don’t have a female instructor on our team.
However, all our instructors are experienced, respectful, and dedicated to providing a safe and comfortable learning environment for every student.
⏳ Everyone Learns Differently
Some students learn quickly, others take more time.
Those with prior experience usually do well, averaging about 10 hours of professional practice.
Research shows new drivers often need an additional 30 hours of practice beyond the basic course.
Practice makes perfect, but alone, it’s not enough to reach perfection.
📬 Insurance Reduction Certificate
The certificate will be mailed to your registered address within 2–3 weeks after completing both in-car and online/in-class courses.
(Training hours and performance must meet the required standards for eligibility.)
🔄 Certificate Reissue
Reissuing your insurance reduction certificate costs $49.99.
It will be sent via registered mail to your registered address.
🚗 Car Rental – Existing Students
$99.99 + 5% GST
Car only? Meet at the registry — no pickup or drop-off.
Car with lesson? Pickup included, no drop-off after the road test.
🆕 New Applicants
Must book our Brush-Up Lesson + Road Test Car Rental Package:
$299.99 + 5% GST
Includes 3 hours instruction — great for getting comfortable and a quick refresher before your road test.
Free pickup only (no drop-off) from home, school, or workplace within Calgary SE, SW, and Okotoks.
🚗 Transmission Type
We currently offer driving lessons only in automatic transmission vehicles.
All our cars are new Toyota Corollas with automatic transmission.
Manual transmission training is not available at this time.
📄 After Passing Your Test
The registry may be busy and take some time to issue your new license.
Please note, our fees cover the lesson duration only.
To avoid disrupting future lessons, we kindly ask all applicants to arrange their own ride after the test.

💡 Refund Policy
We do not offer refunds once the course has started.
This includes all components of the program — classroom, online modules, and in-vehicle lessons.
If any part of the program has been accessed, used, or if the student chooses to withdraw,
no refund will be issued.
If the program has not been accessed at all, a refund may be requested.
Refunds will be issued minus a 5% transaction fee and a
$99.99 administration fee.
Prorated refunds are only offered if the school is unable to continue the course for its own reasons,
and are calculated based on how much of the program has already been delivered and completed.
